Last week, there was an issue with the Practical Fox website, so apologies if you visited and were unable to find what you were looking for.

There was an issue with a plugin (isn’t it always the plugins?) on the website that was kicking out so many error codes it was hard to even tell what the problem was. But we have someone who could help, and once they were on the case, they had it sorted within two hours. Hurrah!

Then, in an overabundance of caution, we tried to preemptively apply the same fix to author and translator Kristen Hall-Geisler’s personal website, and caused that site to crash even harder. Did not know that was possible, but we managed it. Again, we had help fixing it quickly.

All of this is to let you know that the Practical Fox website and shop (and the KHG website, should you want to visit it) are back up and working fine. There are also updates coming to the site that should make everything look and work even better in the future.

Speaking of Memoirs…

Memoirs of a French Courtesan Volume 3: Luck is headed to the editor in November, and the cover will be ready for its big reveal in January 2025. Look for it on bookstore shelves in online stores in May 2025!

We’re hoping to have the final book in the series, Volume 4, out by the end of 2025. Here’s hoping the publishing gods smile on our little press and we can have the set of Mogador’s memoirs complete by the end of next year. 🤞
